The Jacobite, described as ‘the greatest railway journey in the world’ carries passengers from Fort William to Mallaig from April to October, the line made famous in the Harry Potter movies. The 84 mile round trip takes you past a list of impressive extremes. Starting near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis, it visits Britain’s most westerly mainland railway station, Arisaig; passes close by the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, Loch Morar and the shortest river in Britain, River Morar, finally arriving next to the deepest seawater loch in Europe, Loch Nevis!

Chris said “To have the backing from such a highly respected world renowned organization gives me a huge confidence boost along with the financial support allowing me to plan and commit to all this year’s tour events, I am also proud to represent Woodsome Hall Golf Club and have their support.”

For The Jacobite, David Pitts added “I have the belief that 2014 will be the year that Huddersfield can proudly boast of having a top European Tour professional, and we will be proud to be a part of that, Chris has the ability and attitude to compete with the World’s greatest and I am sure we will hear much more about him in the coming months.”
